Branding, Visual Identity SystemLA Planta is a fictional plant convention built around the theme “Honoring Native Plants.” I led the development of the project’s branding system, which served as the foundation for the website and additional deliverables created collaboratively with my peers, Frances Flores, Esmeralda Segura, and Stephanie Salazar. My primary contributions included designing the main poster, event banners, and a range of supporting assets, ensuring the visual identity remained consistent and engaging across platforms.
App Design, Branding, UI/UX, User ResearchThe Gastro App is a fictional mobile application designed to help users explore and discover diverse culinary experiences. The platform highlights curated recommendations, user reviews, and an easy-to-navigate interface for finding local street vendors. My contributions focused on conducting user research, designing an intuitive user interface, and developing a cohesive visual identity that enhanced both usability and overall user experience.
Editorial Design, Print Design, TypographyKemonito is a bilingual zine that I designed and produced highlighting my expertise in typography through a cohesive visual system and structured layout. By strategically selecting colors and imagery, I elevated the content of a straightforward interview into a visually engaging and dynamic publication. The project challenged me to maintain consistency across bilingual text while ensuring readability and flow in both languages. In producing the zine by hand, I also gained experience in print production and binding, reinforcing my interest in design as both a digital and tactile practice.
Editorial Design, Logo DesignEscudos is a zine series where I reimagine football crests from leagues around the world. For this edition, I redesigned 14 iconic crests from Liga MX, Mexico’s premier soccer league, blending contemporary creativity with each team’s rich traditions. The collection was compiled into a pocket-sized zine that celebrates the artistry, heritage, and cultural significance of these emblems.
